FOCCUS Marriage Preparation Volunteers needed: Could it be you? ‘The harvest is rich but the labourers are few’

Broken relationships are extremely painful especially among family and friends. The Archdiocese is partnering with Catholic Marriage Care to train and equip parishioners to become FOCCUS Facilitators and help prepare couples for the Sacrament of Marriage. FOCCUS stands for ‘Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding and Study’. It is a questionnaire-based marriage preparation tool that gives a snapshot of a couple’s unique relationship – their similarities and differences. Facilitators use the FOCCUS questionnaire to aid couples in exploring their relationship and discussing important topics. If you want to be part of a friendly team helping couples get the best start in their marriage please enquire! Training for this role will be held October 26th – 27th at Hedley Lodge, Hereford.
